This week was a non-teaching week, and I spent the time brainstorming ideas for my major project. I have decided to focus on nostalgia, and take images of local places that remind me of my childhood, and also may do the same for others who have grown up around the Wollongong area.
My project will mostly employ the concept of documentary photography, as well as pop culture, as the locations I will photograph will be recognisable, and evoke an emotional reaction, and nostalgia among those who view the images.

It is imperative to have examples of work that will help to provide inspiration for images, as it ensures that all of the images will fit into the chosen theme, and work as a series.
I have also made a list of the locations I will photograph, and ensured that they are accessible to me and fit with the colour scheme I have decided on.
